My Sis in Scenarios, Inc.

January 16, 2008. Kudos to my sister for being hired as the operations assistant for the Operations Department (now Stage and Sets Department) of Scenarios, Inc., a GMA Network subsidiary specializing in production (i.e. staging, set construction, props, lighting, etc.).

Working under the supervision of the Operations Department Head, she will coordinate supervisor's reports, coordinate with program managers for its GMA-7 News and Public Affairs and Entertainment TV groups, and other paperworks to be assigned to her.

I am glad that after months of waiting, with seven (take note, 7 interviews), she finally got in. She originally applied for the videotape custodian position yet the top-level management decided that she was over-qualified for that job. The company then thought of forming a job title for her so that the Operations Department can have an assistant to lessen its bulk of work. We feel that it's a big blessing that the Lord put her in that job since we only expected for a not-so-big position.

I am also thankful that God used me to be a channel of blessing to her since I was the one who saw the job opening and encouraged her to apply for that.
I truly wanted her to get over the misery she experienced before. I am also grateful and glad that I have someone to accompany me on my way home.

We do hope that we could both endure the pressures of working in a huge media company. We pray that God would give us everything we need as we do our best, keeping our fingers crossed and hands raised.
