Be Careful What You Wish For

January 2, 2008. In my Friendster profile I previously said I wanted to meet my younger brother. It’s kinda impossible for us to have another sibling and I really meant that I wanted to have a younger person in the house. I wished for a younger friend, sort of a barkada for me since my only barkada is my elder sister. I wished for it and then he came and things were changed.

I didn’t expect that he would be staying with us to spend Christmas, New Year and even his birthday in our place. He said he didn’t have a place to stay since he does not live with his parents since childhood and was evicted at his grandma’s house. So I thought maybe he can be my close friend. But it turns out that he’s not the one I am looking for. FYI, I do not like people who are so complacent (for lack of a better, more politically correct term). In other words, ayoko ng taong maangas… Even if I know that he’s an honest and polite person, I really feel that his personality is overwhelming me. Basta, maangas siya.

This is a proof that the saying “Be careful what you wish for” is true. (Or, maybe this shows that I’m kinda picky…)
